Q. What skill level does my kid need to have to be
in Can Freestyle Programs?
A. Skiers should be able to competently ski blue terrain
before entering a Freestyle Program. This prerequisite
may vary by club.

Q. Are the coaches certified?
A. Yes, Can Freestyle Coaches must be trained to
teach each program level.

Q. Is there a safety or emergency procedure at the
ski resort?
A. Every CFSA club should has an Emergency Action
Plan - ask to see it!

Q. Does my child need special equipment?
A. At the beginning your child will not need any
special equipment. It is recommended they may
consider a pair of twin tip skis and they may wish to
have more specialized equipment for competitions at
the Freestyle Team level.
